Lens Covers & Sacrificial Lenses
Glass is the most exposed part of your rig. A night vision sacrificial lens or cover stands between branches, debris, and range grit and your objective glass. Replace the shield, not the optic.

Branches and debris strike the front of your rig first. A night vision scope cover takes the hit instead.
Recoil, ejected brass, and range grit chew up exposed glass. Run a sacrificial shield for peace of mind.
A night vision optic cover keeps dust and accidental light exposure off your glass between missions.
Capped optics survive gear bags, hard cases, and vehicle rides without picking up scratches.
Match the cover to the job. A rubber night vision lens cap seals out dust and light for storage, a clear sacrificial shield protects glass while you operate, and a light valve aperture lets you train in daylight. Check fit before you buy: a night vision device lens cap sized for one housing will not always seat on another. Not sure what your rig needs? We will sort it in one conversation.

A clear, replaceable shield that mounts over your objective lens. It absorbs the scratches, debris, and impacts that would otherwise damage the optic, and you replace the shield instead of the glass.
If the device leaves the safe, yes. Objective glass and intensifier tubes are the expensive parts of any unit, and a cover is the cheapest protection you can buy for them.
A cover with a small calibrated opening that cuts the light reaching your intensifier tube, letting you train with goggles in brighter conditions.
It helps. Night vision can be damaged by high light exposure, so keep lens caps on whenever the device is not in use and store it with the batteries removed.
Check the product listing for supported housings. Kits like the PVS-15/31 bikini cover are platform-specific, while some shields fit standard objective threads. When in doubt, ask us before ordering.
When scratches or haze start to degrade your image. Inspect it after hard use; the whole point is that it wears so your optic does not.
