Thermal Scopes
A thermal scope images heat instead of amplifying light, so warm targets stand out in total darkness, smoke, and brush. Shop dedicated thermal weapon sights alongside hybrid units that run as a scope, clip-on, or handheld, all field-ready and backed by expert support.

Spot and engage hogs and coyotes in total darkness, when heat contrast beats any light you could carry.
Watch fence lines and outbuildings at night and identify warm-blooded intruders before they close in.
A hybrid thermal night vision scope covers rifle duty, clip-on work, and handheld scanning with one piece of gear.
High-resolution sensors and big objectives detect heat far beyond what unaided eyes pick up after dark.
Sensor resolution, lens size, and form factor decide how far you detect and how clearly you identify. Compare dedicated and hybrid models from Nocpix, InfiRay Outdoor, DNT Optics, and iRayUSA against your ranges and budget, or talk it through with our team before you commit.
Talk to our teamA 384 sensor handles most hunting at moderate range; 640 and up buys clarity and positive ID at distance.
Objectives here run from compact 25mm units to 75mm lenses. Bigger lenses stretch range and trade away field of view.
Dedicated sights live zeroed on one rifle; hybrid units move between scope, clip-on, and handheld roles as the job changes.
LRF models measure exact distance on demand, and select units calculate your holdover from it.
THERMAL SCOPES FAQ
A rifle-mounted optic that images heat instead of amplifying light. Warm targets stand out against cooler terrain in total darkness, smoke, fog, and brush, and the sensor works just as well in daylight.
Night vision scopes amplify ambient light through intensifier tubes and need at least some light to work. Thermal scopes read temperature differences instead, so they work in zero light and through conditions that block light.
A clip-on unit that mounts in front of your existing day scope, so you keep your glass and your zero while adding thermal capability. Several hybrid models here run as a dedicated sight, a clip-on, or a handheld scanner.
It depends on range and budget. Hogs and coyotes inside a few hundred yards do fine with a 384 or 640 sensor and a 35mm lens; longer shots reward higher resolution and larger lenses. Our team will match a model to your terrain.
Yes, for most U.S. citizens. Export is ITAR-restricted, and some states regulate thermal hunting, so check your local game laws before the season starts.
Yes. Thermal sensors do not depend on light, so they can be used day or night. Just avoid pointing any thermal optic directly at the sun. Thermal optics are still more effective at night due to lower background temperatures.
Most units attach to standard Picatinny rails, and clip-on capable models mount in front of your existing day optic. Confirm rail space and mounting hardware before you buy.
